HAIL GLADDENING LIGHT

After eighteen months of enforced musical silence the Thomas Tallis Society Choir will burst back into song on the 2nd October in the opening concert of their 2021 – 22 season.

Entitled “HAIL GLADDENING LIGHT”, the total forces of this magnificent choir will perform works for double choir by European composers spanning a four hundred year period, including the world premiere of ‘ YOUR WORLD’ by the contemporary English composer, Kim Porter. Other composers include Bach, Britten, Byrd, Gabrieli, Gibbons, Parry, Rheinberger, Schein, Stanford, Victoria and Wood. The concert will take place at St Alfege Church at 7.30pm. As seating will be socially distanced and, therefore, more limited in availability, buy your tickets early from www.ticketsource.co.uk/tts to avoid disappointment.
